1949 Chevy Panel Truck

This fine '54 Chevy wagon belongs to Arthur Elliott of Harrodsburg, Kentucky.  Arthur brought this car to the midwest from California.  The previous owner updated the brakes as well as added a truck 3-speed transmission behind the freshened 6-cylinder.

The truck 3-speed trans enabled him to eliminate the enclosed drive shaft/rear end set up.  Now the car has a late model 10 bolt Chevy.

Now, this is what it's supposed to look like.  First, I installed a Mustang II front end along with a full air ride set up...

then I installed a Ford disc brake rear end as well as a Corvette master cylinder to make them all work properly.

Finally, I added the 18" and 20" Coys wheels that Arthur supplied.
