1990 Harley-Davidson Softail #2

In 1993 I made some serious changes to this bike.  The new paint was done by Greg Marcum of Kettering, Ohio.  It was black cherry with panels of candy red, green and orange.

This photo was taken in 1994 at Sylvan Lake in the Black Hills of South Dakota.  You can see my addition of the 3" open belt primary, complete with '57 Chevy hubcap spinner on the clutch hub.  I have been asked a million times and no, I have never had my jeans, my foot or my wife get caught in the open primary.  I did have the spinner fly off while cruising the strip in Myrtle Beach.

This photo shows a better view of the paint job.  Note the Z-bars.

The bike appeared in the January 1995 edition of the German magazine Thunder Cycle.
